Wilfred Lang was born into an artistic family in 1954 and painted from a young age, attending the Shanghai art school between 1972 and 1976 before emigrating to Hawaii where the style now recognisable as a Wilfred Lang was developed.
Working in acrylics which are wrapped around the frame, his skilful use of colour coordinating and colour integration techniques to create the illusion of three-dimensional space are partly why he has earned several awards for his art which is also exhibited in many galleries around the world.
